Happy Birthday, Drew!

Today is Drew's first birthday. He had his big blow-out partayy on Saturday, which I missed, but I saw him the previous Saturday and gave him my present late one night outside a pizza joint. It was way after his bedtime; the pacifier was mucho necesario.

Because I was early, I had the honor of giving him his very first birthay present ever.

That's a lot of pressure.

I was afraid it would be a let down. Sitting on that table under the neon lights, Drew tore into the giant birthday bag, he peeked inside. . . I held my breath. . .

Oh yes, I did. I got Drew is very first Tonka Dump Truck. It's as big as he is.

So he climbed right in.

And then the Big Girls took him on the most terrifying ride of his life.
