- In Florida, you can get a wedding for $99.99. But I'm already married.
- Sept. 9 is the 252nd day of the year (2 + 5 +2)... Big Deal, I'm not a math freak.
- I could host my own interconnectedness event. But then I'd have to send an invitation to a Reiki Practitioner I know and I don't know any Reiki Practitioners.
- I could united with Malaysians for Road Safety. But I have to answer "What Are Your Top 5 Annoying Malaysian Driving Habits?" and I can't come up with any.
- I could see everyone around me as a source of good at 9 a.m. and tap into the global spiritual happening. But I'm not sure what time zone they're using. Would it be 9 a.m. my time? Or would I totally miss it?
Today represents the last set of repeating, single-digit dates that we'll see for almost a century (until January 1, 2101), or a millennium (mark your calendars for January 1, 3001), depending on how you want to count it.

And I just don't know how to mark such a huge thing. I'm thinking maybe I'll sleep in until 9:09.

I'll make it a point to shop in NINE stores today. I'll buy NINE items, maybe shoes? I'll wish NINE times that you were with me!

What's so special about single digits-- we can do this again on 10/10/10, 11/11/11, and 12/12/12. We have 3 more years of fun before the 88-year dry period.
