Tom tore up the piano. It was time, this old upright was beyond tuning and I've wanted it out of my office for years.
In a moment of brilliance, he listed the keys on Craig's List. Several art students wanted them.
I can't believe I didn't think of that.

Wow! I am amazed that you sold the piano keys! Of course, if it is an old piano, they are probably real ivory. Good thinking! Now how are you going to sell the wood part?
And DON'T get rid of a piano bench or stool! Those things are gold!
