So we're in New York City sitting at an outside cafe' overlooking the Hudson, enjoying an unusual warm afternoon when I realized it was exceptionally noisy. The dogs, good grief, dogs barking over & over & over, I was going to lose my mind.
I had to check it out.
What is up with all the dogs in NYC??

Right there in the middle of the city. . .
in a nice little fenced in area . . .
. . . was a little doggie playground.
After a hard day's work, NY parents take little Spot down to the playground.
Parents sit around and chat while Spot meets up with his friends, plays a few games, has some fun & fresh air.
So I wondered... how do you think my fellow rural South Carolinians would react to this use of their tax paying dollars if we were to build one around here?
I think Daisy needs a little socialization.
I think Daisy is suffering social anxiety.

I think it should be mandatory for the entire USA. No dogs should be allowed to roam the local areas, they should be on a leash or confined in a fenced in area. Our trailer park goes even further, “No dogs are allowed to move in or on Forest Manor property. No tenant will take in, harbor, or keep for anyone, a dog at any time.” “No visiting dog will be allowed outside the home unless it is on a hand held leash.” Now if we could only convince the rest of the USA to adopt these regulations then the USA will be a better place to live in – DOG FREE. Yeah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Oh good grief what next!
I think it's a good idea for them to have a doggie park, BUT I wouldn't want MY tax dollars spent on it. I think it's better for them to have their OWN place to do "their business" vs. doing it on the sidewalk where I am walking like the geese at church!
It makes me wish I had a dog so I could earn some more sit down time.
It makes me wish that I owned a dog so I would have some more sit down time,as I sat there and watch him play with his friends.
Yeah! Some sit down time! And I could sit on a bench a read a book while Daisy plays.
