... and checking it twice.
Eva & I wrapped some presents yesterday. Some of them were difficult for her to part with, she wanted them all.
-
After wrapping, we sat down on the edge of the bed and began writing our lists of who we wrapped for and who else we need to buy for, we made shopping lists and to-do lists. Eva pointed out that "sometimes ballerinas write with their Pookie." Oh-kay. Got it. She's a ballerina today.
-
Eva began whisperiing, "Alexa and Emma.... Kylie.... Hey, Pookie, what's Kylie's mom's name? My teachers... Ms. Melissa..... & bad Ms. Melissa."
-
"Whoa," says I, "bad Ms. Melissa?
"Why is bad Ms. Melissa bad?" Man, I tried to get the scoop from her, but couldn't get anything definite. I think bad Ms. Melissa just yells too much.
-
Then Eva perked up, "My mommy likes flowers! . . But flowers are too expensive. . . She likes green cereal!" (applejacks) She bent back over to write more, "I'm gonna get her green cereal!!"
-
Boy, won't her mommy be surprised.

That is SO CUTE! My son told me today he wants to buy a friend from preschool bananas for Christmas. Cuz he likes 'em and so does his friend and they can share.
Ah...the innosence of youth!
Don't you just love kids? They are so honest and cute...though not always at the same time.
So funny! Kids really do make the holidays so much more fun... not just the holidays... LIFE!
