Steve Maslar left A native of Binghamton, NY, raised on the hard streets of Charlotte, NC, Steve is passionate about fly fishing. He fishes to a great extent throughout the southeast and has a strong connection to the Smoky Mountains. His catches have appeared in numerous publications and a book about his fishing career is forthcoming.

Jerry Maslar right makes his home in Northeast Charlotte, NC, with his wife, Marjorie. He specializes in adventure travel, focusing on navigation, equipment engineering and personalization. He makes your expectations reality. Guiding trips in his retirement years is a natural outcome of years spent scouring the nation for adventure. Years of experience stand behind every trip he produces. (he's eating all my dried pineapples in this shot. keep your dried fruit away from him, treat him as you would a bear, hang your backpack just out of his reach)

Valerie Sliker left travels extensively in North and South America, specializing in social and cultural documentation and preservation. She began her freelance career in Chattanooga, TN, with Temple Times, a relatively unknown publication.
"Life -- a work of art" is her prevailing source of inspiration and motivation. She currently calls South Carolina home and is in the slow and painful process of becoming an empty nester. She recently cut off all her hair, inspired by Edwin McCain, now the two often get mistaken for each other.

{We had another great time.
Look at this place on the right, isn't it awesome?
The guys were over there fishing and I was just skipping stones, writing, reading, enjoying life.}

Hi. Thank you for visiting my blog and especially for featuring my link on yours. If you go back to my blog and click on any picture, it gets bigger so that you can read any journaling on the page. Forgive me for asking but what is your MB name at CK? I don't remember a "Poof."
